Edit - I actually got through a little while ago - maybe around 10:25.

I just got through, and all they have left over the phone is scattered singles and standing room.  Sounds like the singles are going fast, though.  I got two in section 20 and one in 24 - that was as close together as I could get.

If this happenes to other people, we might want to start a "scattered singles exchange" thread so we can at least try to get people in the same sections as the rest of their group...

I have a hunch a lot of this will happen on the ticket exchange (<--)

Talked to a very nice man on the phone at 10:45.  Only standing room left.

nevermind! got through just now (10:50) and got 6 standing room tickets.

Me too, just a minute ago. Only standing room left, I think the online system has been shut down. Keep trying, and if you get the man's voice recording then hold the line because you'll get through.

Just got through, bought standing room.  Thanks for all the help!

Well I wasnt able to get even a pair of standing room tickets by the time I got through on the phone (11am)... however if anyone wants to see Harvard/Dartmouth you can still get blocks of 6 seats for Saturday night! :-P

I called at 955, was on hold and got through at 10:01.  Got 6 seats in Section 20, row C.

Shockingly, the man on the phone new I was a CU fan  ::nut::

I purchased at the ticket window at Sucks.  They opened the window right at 10 am.  I asked the kid if I could get seats in Section 16 or 15 or so and he said.  "I have a few in section 20, or I could get you a pair in section 16".  I asked if there was anything else and he said not really.  So I took 6 in Section 20, row C.

Anyway, I said "Hey, I thought tickets went on sale just now at 10.  May I ask how the rest of the tickets are almost all sold?"  He said that it had to do with player comps, student seats, and season ticket holders.  I'm kind of surprised that they would sell that many season tickets in the visitor sections of the rink, but whatever.  ::screwy::

Every year it's something new... and I was even up until about 1:30  this morning, but stuck working and didn't get a chance to check out eLynah.  Drats.

Anyway, managed to get tickets at least.  For those of you who are wondering, I got there at 9:33 and was first in line.  There were about maybe 10 or 12 people behind me, nearly all buying for the CU game, and mostly CU fans.

I don't think they will... they do have their endowment to look after  I'd call that a remote chance. A lowish but more possible chance is knocking off any tickets that people ordered over 6. If they have the capability to do that without tons of manual labor.

Might pay to keep an extra close eye on your email and eLF for the next few days.[/q]

If they cancel tickets over six i'd be screwed. I had 7 people so I ordered a set of 4 and a set of 3. One set is in section 2, the other in 23.

My bet on tickets purchased in the last 24 hours:

500 - Cornell fans

20 - Harvard fans (because their Cornell friends called and asked)

Red out Lynah East!
