PC Magazine (OT and not)

The newest issue of PC Magazine arrived in my mailbox this week.  Our prolific poster, Bill Howard made mention of ELynah in his column.  I hope that doesn't raise the traffic too much but now that the season is over and the NHL season is drawing to a close ::rolleyes:: there won't be all that much interest in Age's board from outsiders.

The column did raise an issue in my mind that I had considered back when PC listed their top 100 web sites.  In that issue Bill wasn't quoted concerning his top picks.  We see some of them now.

But the spring is here and unlike my activity during hockey season I find myself checking into several sites before ELynah these days.  Bill listed some of his favorites in his column and I will list two of mine here but my question is the following:

What sites are you "addicted to" in that you visit them each day online?

Here are two of my favorites:

http://www.snapfiles.com/

http://www.sofotex.com/
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

Three sites:

The Republic of Pemberley (for Jane Austen obsessives, but including general chat about books and other stuff):  http://www.pemberley.com/

Pepys' Diary, annotated daily by the community at large:  http://www.pepysdiary.com/

And the New York Times, constantly.

www.nytimes.com
www.washingtonpost.com
www.nypost.com, because i refuse to pay for that crap
www.nydailynews.com also crap but at least they aren't owned by a fascist
www.msnbc.com
www.gothamist.com
www.gawker.com because I MUST know who in Hollywood is impregnating whom
www.apartmenttherapy.com
newyork.craigslist.org
espn.com
www.justoffcamera.com
www.cornellsun.com

And of course I move with catlike speed and agility from site to site. Those are the big ones, there are others.

I just wasted 5 minutes of my life, I think.

other than the ones already listed:

www.xanga.com
www.soccer365.com
www.btefnet.net
www.democracynow.org (I'm not a hippie)
www.politicalwire.com (I swear)

and I'm surprised it took so long to get my.yahoo.com listed.  I have it set up for all sorts of news (Washington Post, etc), weather, sports (there's even college hockey news!), humor and entertainment (the Onion), fantasy baseball...it's convenient for me considering I keep in touch with fraternity brothers through yahoo fantasy sports games.
