In case anyone's interested: Adam Wodon (research assistance by Arthur Mintz) has written Cornell University Hockey, published by Arcadia. It's $19.95 and the Cornell Store is running a preseason special at 20% off until the first puck drops for the Red/White game.

Ooooh - I think I just set a record for finishing my Christmas shopping earlier than ever...
Let's Go RED!

Is next year here yet?

If you don't want to give Cornell the money, it's $13.99 on Amazon.

But you have to wait until November. So I'm waiting until November.

It's 128 pages. I think Bill Clinton took that long to get to puberty in his tome.

Amazon doesn't really have a description at all.

I believe "Images of Sports" is simply the name of the series by Acadia under which this book is housed.

Hi folks ... If you feel like helping USCHO in the process of ordering this book, please use this link as an entry-way to Amazon:

To answer one question - most pictures have lengthy captions ... and each chapter has a two-page introduction.  So there's some text.  It's actually about 20,000 words worth, I believe.  It's not a full narrative.  That is something I'd love to do in the future.

Flipped through it in the campus store today, and it actually looks pretty sweet. Chapters were in chronological order by coach (or something along those lines ... I wasn't paying too close attention). Cool mix of historical and modern pictures, and I actually found my face in one of the photos. I'll wait to buy it online, though B-]

[Q]Since then, names like Ken Dryden, Ned Harkness, Lance Nethery, Joe Nieuwendyk, Daren Eliot, Mike Schafer and David LeNeveu have won championship after championship. Their stories are recounted here.[/Q]
David LeNeveu's won championship after championship?  Looking toward the future are we? :-D

Well, he was on the team when they won two back-to-back ECAC regular season championships, in 01-02 and 02-03. :-P

When LeNeveu played, didn't Cornell win Ivy and ECAC championships? Or, correction, didn't LeNeveu's name win championships?
