Why are we using running backs to catch these deep passes, supposedly we have this incredible wide receiver and tight end that are all Americans. They don't throw to them at all.

GPS can hardly walk, the outcome of this game is on the coaching staff. Especially that defensive side of the ball, terrible defensive secondary play.

There you go – not even at the first down sticks. They win over Lehigh was a mirage.

And a lack of smarts.  Awful loss.

Cornell's inability to win on the road has haunted the Big Red for decades.

A tough loss today.   I have mentioned on this website many times why I hate the no huddle spread offense, in that yes it scores a lot of points but once again our defense was completely out of gas in the fourth quarter.  For example our best running back Jordan Triplett only had eight carries during the game.    Cornell has been trying to run this offense for twenty years and it has never really worked.   Running the football chews up the clock and gives your defense some rest, and as a result we gave up a 27-7 lead.

The DC Toerper is an excellent coach but our pass defense especially in the secondary has not been strong. Going in I feared that Murphy might come out of his slump

Some poor decisions by Garrett SB and the penalties! Geez just unbelievable.

The third and short surprise screen pass when we needed to run clock was a ridiculous call. Running a dozen WR mesh screens was worse because it was a total failure to learn. Plus, it shows such a lack of trust in GBS for anything but draws ... yet they had him keep throwing deep routes that he never connects on. The running game was too effective to be so unused.

On defense, we blew so many tackles and it cost us drive after drive and though we flushed the QB over and over there was always someone open and the throws weren't even that hard.

Dubious decision making the entire fourth quarter spoiled what should have been an easy road win over a team that can't move the ball without the defense putting it all on a platter.

The defense played pretty well until the fourth quarter when they simply ran out of gas.   IF we just ran the football and chewed up clock, to give our defense some rest, we would have won the game.  But no we continued to run hurry up no-huddle offense and the defense barely had time to catch their breath.  If you ever listen to Tom Brady on his telecasts (he's not a very good broadcaster but he knows football) he often talks about playing under center to run the ball and chew up clock.   It's just football 101.

My guess would be they're drawing the best coverage.
