Well – you watch, they will find a way to lose this game.

Playbook has been stripped to the studs. After getting a first down, another WR screen for nothing followed by the 5th (?) jet sweep by Lee for nothing and another missed open receiver by GBS that would have been a goat down.

Cornell punts, misses a table. Brown near midfield.

big29red

Exactly-just terrible playcalling, especially now when the game is on the line.

big29red

Now – run the ball, right down their throat

ugarte

QB scramble on second down, Cornell punches the ball out and recovers!

ugarte

About 5 minutes to go, the first traditional runs in forever goes for a total of seven. Big third down coming.

big29red

WTF- was that, you have to be kidding me on these play calls??

ugarte

Fake handoff but a bad screen pass falls incomplete. Big punt... fair catch at the 16. 4:25 to go.

really dumb especially after the ball hits the ground. a 40 second gift.

Yes- just poor playcalling, poor execution when it's needed the most. I really question the coaching staff that has been hired. I think Swanstrom is great, but they need to hire better coordinators. I am sure just like other sports at Cornell it's all about the money.

big29red

Just completely falling apart – what kind of a penalty is that?

Buck stops with Swanstrom.  Play-calling sucks.  Fix it.  His job.

Yeah – I guess that's true. He's the head coach. However, the recruiting needs to really step up. There is a lack of speed, and a lack of size.
