Is there a quick way to view the inter-conference records?

While we have several skilled guys, Major may be the most skilled forward on the roster.

Wonderful weekend. It is so refreshing to not already be behind and desperately scrambling for NPI and league points like we were last year.

Cournoyer is still a baller, Walsh and Castagna are showing up big time, and Devlin is making a name for himself. I don't think Gorski is ready for a full time role, but hopefully today was just him getting his jitters out. Besides I think the extra skater is best used as a forward anyway.

Time to beat BU

Anyone know if the pep band that showed up was made up of actual band members? I thought they may have been largely band alumni. Very few of them were wearing the striped shirts, though a few were. The majority were just wearing regular clothes.

No matter, they sounded good and were much appreciated!

I heard someone  who went to find out report they were told "it's senior night and they should be there by 7:30."  ::)

Historically, the pep band is made up almost entirely of students who are also in the marching band, and for the marching band their senior night is a pretty big deal.   Pep band is an easy gig by comparison. Four years of being outdoors in the late fall ithaca weather for games and rehearsals both isn't easy.

Cut them some slack.

Band alum here. Football game ended at 4:10. No reason to be late for hockey even on senior day. It's always a tight turn but it's very doable to be at Lynah by 6:20. Especially when you know a visiting band is coming. At a minimum, an advance contingent of underclassmen should have been there on time.

If the pumpkin decorated tubas are an indication then those have been to every game so far this year including last night

I could definitely be mistaken, but I was under the impression that the band alumni, in this situation, would just borrow the instruments from the band.

The other reason I thought it may have been an impromptu group of band alumni was the fact that there was the video and announcement that the pep band would be seeing us at Red Hot Hockey. (So their not being at the RPI game was planned.)

Cornell had a lot of space to show off their skill and speed last night.  They were cruising along until the DiGiulian penalty and then struggled to regain the momentum until they came back out for the final forty.  This team has done an incredible job of being their best later in games.  Especially clamping down on D.  Where early on in the season the freshman were driving the offense, the upperclassmen have taken over.  I thought Walsh carried the puck to the front of the net on the fifth goal but must be an RPI player played the puck in between so he didn't get another assist?  RPI had such a tough time even gaining the offensive zone that they were hanging a guy out near their blue line and were content to let the game be played four on four in the defensive zone.  Wild.  There's a lot to like so far.  I'm looking forward to the upcoming test vs BU.  Should be a very different style of play than they have faced so far.

Told you.

I barely remember the week after my senior night.

And to whomever said the NPI tab was gone on the Android app ... I can see it, so I'm not sure what's up with that. Hopefully only a temporary glitch for you :)

I am also using Android and also have no issue with the NPI tab.

But since we're talking about the app, I'm wondering if I'm missing something, and if not, I guess the following could be considered a feature request.

If I have one favorite team selected (Cornell, obviously) it would be nice if the Standings tab and the Scores tabs defaulted to showing the ECAC first. Assuming there is no way to specify the order for the different leagues, displaying the leagues in order, based on the number of favorited teams in those leagues, would probably be seen as a benefit by all users.

(If there is a way to specify the league order I apologize for posting this, but I have not found it.)

And yes...it's not that hard to scroll. I only throw this out there as a possible improvement to an app that is already excellent and very useful.

Thanks!

There was a water bottle, looked like the green ones they use on the bench, buried on top of pile of snow when 'Resurfacer' left the ice first time.  Rink staffer walked out and picked it up and then sent student staff out with shovels to look through snow pile and make sure was only snow there;  Then most of snow pile was moved by hand to each side of the Zamboni doors.  This is the only time I have seen anything like it!
