Fegaras seems to be racking up the PIMs in short order.

If Castagna tries that little twirly dipsy do on the kill in the Show he's going to wake up at the General Hospital.

I didn't appreciate how good a goal DeSantis' was in real time.  Damn.  If he's going to score with that little time and space we are going to be good.

Quote from: ER on November 15, 2025, 08:23:33 PMOur broadcast is terrible. I have my tv volume maxed out and can barely hear the announcers

This is especially DANGEROUS if one is listening with earbuds.  If one cranks the volume up to hear the broadcast the commercials are so loud they can hurt you.
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

DAVE!!! should become a forever cheer, like the band cheer about the undergrad marching the wrong way which is what 30 years old now?

But I also think the costumes should be donated to Cornell Theater with the proviso that the Zamboni driver has their pick of anything in the costume shop warehouse on a game night, in perpetuity.

Also Dave's name should be inscribed on the Zamboni the way Ferrari has Jules Bianchi on their kit.

I think there is a setting on the earbud apps to protect against spikes -- an aural surge protector.  Now, have I ever bothered to actually figure it out and use it?

The issue is this era of Cornellians can't figure out new chants to save their lives.

Guy next to me, after the "UConn Rejects" chant: "oh, that's really smart"
Me: "that's why we say it..."

Mine on Android warns me.  To hear the game well if any noise is present I'm in the potential danger zone according to that.  I don't do IOS except as emergency tech support.

I'm guessing it's the same ratio of quality as always.  There have always been lots and lots of lame new cheers and a Darwinian struggle where the best survive -- just like we think 19th century literature was better because  of survivor bias.

Theodore Sturgeon was right.
