Yale -17.5  I don't think I have seen an Ivy spread that large since the Penn glory days.

ESPN has it -20.5.  Why?  We may suck but Yale is Ivy Good (i.e., also sucks).

Yale returns the opening kickoff across midfield but Cornell gets a clutch stop on 4th and 1.

Cornell's first drive goes sack, incomplete, incomplete. Going to be a long day if this is what it looks like in the trenches. Yale shoved the Red straight backwards.

Another defensive stop aided by a holding penalty against Yale on what looked like a successful scramble by the QB. Need to have one play with positive yardage by the offense before I start thinking hopeful thoughts.

Get the first down, though, on an 8 from Pope and a decent completion. Cornell takes a deep shot, which doesn't connect, but Yale Cornell gets hit for roughing something and Cornell is in the red zone ugh.

And then Yale gets hit for late hit for real! Ball at the 22 and then a run down to the 12. Wow.

After a nice play on 2d and 2 to get to the 1. Yale shot themselves in the foot a couple of times but Cornell didn't ask to borrow the gun so that was nice.
