Cornell does not make it easy to follow our sports with no more WHCU broadcasts and limited streaming coverage this weekend.   The only thing I could find on the Albany website is the CAA streaming service, but since I am already paying for ESPN + I don't want to order another service.   Let me know if any of you posters have any suggestions?   Go Big Red!

apparently it's on Flo, which is a subscription service that i pay for but that's part of the wrestling fanaticism.

Most of  flo services are crazy expensive for one-off games

True.  Cancellation while paying for one day only was impossible the last time I tried.

Every year I buy season football tickets and donate to the program.  Then I sign up for ESPN +.   It just drives me nuts I can't even stream or listen to the game on Saturday night.   Meanwhile Homecoming is just over two weeks away and I have not received any e-mails or snail mail from the athletic department.   Like I said, Cornell does not make it easy to be a Big Red fan.

Cornell's game notes with the two-deep were  posted yesterday.

Not sure you caught it on the two deep, but Cornell's starting DL is especially small this year in weight.  Hopefully they are very active and can swarm to the ball on run defense.  Whether they can apply enough pressure to the QB on passing plays is another question mark.

Wonder if the weights have been updated - Swanstrom has talked about the big gains the team made in size & strength during the offseason.

At least the SID and AD listen now.  This is much better than prior regimes which regarded their relationship with the fans with a piquant mixture of smug superiority and hapless technical ineptitude.

Contact them.  Cite a specific issue and why it is a problem for fans.  I believe the present regime is actually trying, and judging from the evolution of the SID's products they have far more functioning synapses than their antecedents.

No radio alternatives, apparently.

That's a good point.

Perhaps a good topic for the zoom town hall today?

From watching Dr Moore's town hall today she talked of the cost cuts that the Athletic Dept had to make.  Just a guess here but that may be the reason they dumped Grady Whittenburg and cutting ties with WHCU per Cornell ice hockey.
