QB draw to the 7, 1st and Goal... defense holds but the FG is good. Cornell cuts it to 6-3.

Should mention that Cornell is playing Lang and Bass-Sulpezio at QB on alternating drives. Bass-Sulpezio was under center for the scoring drive.

Wasted opportunity to score a TD settling for a FG is not going to get it done in this game.

Devin Page.

Ugh. Cornell had Albany with 3d and 10 at midfield, coverage was perfect, QB took off and broke someone's ankles in the open field to get the first.

But Cornell stands tall; Albany goes for it on 4th and 4 and it's incomplete. Cornell ball at around the 25.

Bass-Sulpezio gets another drive as the hot hand but misses an open Kurtz on third and short and Cornell punts it back. Albany ball at around the 30.

I'm not a fan of alternating QBs.  No continuity.

At least they weren't shut-out on their first game. I don't see much chance against a strong Yale team next week.

OOOOF. Albany RB Uga gets hit in the backfield but bounces off into an open field and scores from 43. 13-3 Great Danes. 6:09 to go.

Missing their best offensive weapon in WR Sam Musungu is a huge blow to the Cornell offense.

Great drive from Page, finishing with a 6-yard TD from Kurtz. Kurtz had a three catches on the drive including a one hand sideline grab for 24. 13-10 Albany with 3:38 to play. If we get the ball back, I assume Swanstrom will go hot hand again.

But yes, the lack of Musungu really hurts. Kurtz is the real deal as a 6'5 TE though.

Kurtz is terrific, and in Musunga's absence our best offensive player
