Quote from: stereaxUgh. They get a PP to start the third? KILL RED KILL.

Is it me or has every call in the tournament been insanely soft? The only one I've seen that was like "yeah that's a penalty" was MSU's trip.

To be fair I was not able to see either penalty in the first 10 minutes today. Maybe one of those was for real.
In our games, they're calling soft ones, for sure. In other games it feels less... bad? Still surprised neither Yegorov nor Lachance got anything for the assault on Kraft.
i was sure lachance was going to get called
I thought it'd be Yegorov tbh for throwing Kraft to the ice.

Kill it off and ride the momentum.  We already feel dissed and overlooked, mix in the refs as a fifth column and ratchet up the energy of a Band of Brothers.

I am so impressed with this team.  This is I think my favorite Cornell team since 1997, for the feels and for my high regard of the players' grit.

They said something similar on the broadcast.

The goalie always has the benefit of he doubt if he doesn't leave his crease.  I wasn't surprised by that.  But I really thought Lachance was going for railing him afterwards.

The Penney-Cooney parallel is strong. And #5 reminds me a lot of #5.

I'll say something that I hope is prescient.  Cole Hutson is I am sure an amazing offensive player, but he plays no defense at all.  I have rarely seen a less engaged defender going back.  I really want us to exploit that.  Mike always adjusts.

I am amused that the announcers have at least twice talked about BU not liking to block shots.

Dafatone

He had one good takeaway in the 2nd, but he hasn't been noticeable on defense otherwise.

Oh they are all scary AF on transition.  But they play "defense" by always trying to jump up on the play.  It;s terrifying but it leaves us gaps to penetrate.

Well shit. He's so fucking good.

Can't lose the face-off to start the period and can't fail to ice the puck there.

Dafatone

Bah.

Psenicka had an opportunity to clear it and didn't get it done.
