We will always be disappointed

Argue amongst yourselves. Lacrosse, we had our window (it's closed). Hockey (it's wide open, but it appears mismanaged), soccer (draft picks are gone, we are done).

Our talent hockey wise, is insane. Hopefully we catch fire and move up in the pairwise

Whether we are disappointed depends entirely on us.

Valid point.

I don't see how the lacrosse window is "closed," when most experts are picking us to be top 5 or even top 3 this year.  We are a clear national title contender.

Don't discount the recruiting tool Cornell will have with the Meinig Fieldhouse for all sports,

Actually had a few drinks and my frustrations got the best of me. Between the Covid shut down/running into a Maryland juggernaut in lacrosse/the loss in the frozen four/syracuses last second miracle (lacrosse again)/bemidji/etc.

So my apologies.

We should have a really good lacrosse team this year.

Accepted.  We've all been there.

Suggestion: Somewhere between now and January 5, 2025 substitute psychedelics for alcohol. Then visualize hockey, lacrosse, & wrestling all winning NC's in 2025, basketball winning the ILT and one round in the big dance, and football winning the IL under our new coach. For 2026, repeat for both men's and women's hockey, men's lacrosse, men's basketball, and football. With our new AD, also visualize similar improvement in women's team sports, although for various reasons this may take a few years longer.

The fact is these possibilities are not outrageous for 2025, which by itself is cause to rejoice. OTOH, other plausible predictions for 2025 are not as uplifting. ::scared::

Right now it's Penn State fans I almost feel sorry for. Like S.A.D., it will pass.
