I don't know if nobody is watching or what but Cornell just ran a fake punt on 4th and 8 from their own 24. Snap to the up back and Tucker took it 76 yards for the score. Cornell is up 21-7 with three minutes left in Q1.

On offense, Penn is beefier than us at the line of scrimmage. I'm not sure why they don't run the ball every play and matriculate down the field.

It just makes me crazy to see the defense tackle high and not the legs,or try to tackle by hitting the hips with the shoulder pads. The ballcarrier carries the tackler or bounces off for more yards.

I'm with you on that—our tackling can be terrible ant times. And, I have no idea what our DB was thinking on Penn's 2nd TD on a 3rd and 12.

Defense takes a holiday and Penn zips right back down the field. Penn tries a trick play on a 2-pt conversion and it's a mess. 28-23 with ~2 minutes left in the half.

Penn answers right back on a drive where we provided little resistance. Penn tries a bizarre 2-point play with a throwback to a lineman that fails. We have 1:49 left in the half to try to respond.

We don't have to be NFL draft prospects to decide that we'll be the best tackling team in the Ivy League. Technique and drilling will make it second nature.

28-26 Cornell at the half on a last 2nd Penn FG. I have no idea what Swanstrom was thinking calling a timeout with 58 seconds left after we got a sack for a short loss, as Penn had no trouble taking advantage and marching right into FG range. I think our coach has a great future, but he has to realize he doesn't have the 85 Bears' defense out there, and that was an outright coaching blunder.
