Quote from: chimpfoodNever mind, offside :(

He caught the Malinski curse! I think Sam has at least two that were called back after review for offsides this season.

A real shame though...Malott's was a beauty: https://twitter.com/DooleyLAK/status/1908630368896643292

Malinski got one in the avalanche loss. He has been on fire recently

The Avs color guy remarked that he thinks Malinski has one of the best wrist shots on the team: pretty impressive amongst the likes of MacKinnon, Makar, Necas, etc.

Bancroft scored in his pro debut, but it was a 6-4 loss for Providence against Utica.

Losing to Utica, damn.

Suda also scored in his second game. And Shane just got a shutout for Norfolk. Great Big Red showings.

i guess scoring to bring your team within two in the final minute of the game isn't how most people want to score their first pro goal. bancroft's only reaction was to coast to a stop along the boards.

Barron scores his 7th of the season on a great individual effort, forcing a turnover at the blue line and then making a power move to the net on a breakaway: https://www.nhl.com/jets/video/stl-wpg-barron-scores-goal-against-joel-hofer-6371196848112

i love watching our guys get wow goals in the pros. much more satisfying than when they pop in a grinder rebound. makes me think about what they'd look like if the red had a more free-flowing offense. i know that it is the yin to the yang of having a great defense for the last 30 years but i have to admit if we're going to have an adjustment period that involves more losing (not saying we will, just IF) i wouldn't mind watching a little firewagon hockey for a bit.

I know we have speculated that D-first wasn't only Mike's personal preference but also the better way to survive as a team less likely to get the highest end blue chippahs.

But Yale did it, so it can be done.

Shane continues to be a workhorse as a pro.  He started three straight days over the weekend and last night won his third straight game in his fourth start in six days.

And they didn't even sign him to a contract yet. What the fuck, really.
