To me the most satisfying win since we beat Clarkson to end the ill-fated 2020 season (and yes I include the two games at UND last year).
I agree.  My god, that was another truly satisfying win.

Indeed. Incredibly, we could have won by much more.

Speaking of 2020 tonight serves as a bit of payback, as that season QU whipped our great team 5-0 in Hamden in our only real stinker that season.

Oof feels pretty underwhelming considering where we were before BU loss

But it's Def a step in the right direction and the game was absolutely magnificent

Also Q still 2

GO BIG RED

Give My Regards

From TBRW's Top 10 section, tonight's four goals is the largest margin of victory the Big Red has had over a #1-ranked team (dating back to 1983).
If you lead a good life, go to Sunday school and church, and say your prayers every night, when you die, you'll go to LYNAH!

Very effective game. Cornell was tenacious the whole night and while Q had a few good opportunities, they were mostly outmuscled and nullified.

Indeed.  But I only vouch for that stat in games after 1999, before that my records re: opponent's polling place are spotty.
We have now knocked off Q as a #1 four times in the last 10 seasons (not including the year we sat out).

Though, two of those times were in ECAC quarterfinal series that Cornell went on to lose.

Shane was really solid tonight. He displayed great positioning and played with the same confidence he showed against UCONN. And killing those 3 first period penalties so decisively was a huge boost.

Pull it from the CU schedule.

Thanks!
I never use the ESPN+ search, it sucks.  I navigate from either the CU schedule or the CHN or USCHO scoreboard.

ESPN+ app > ESPN+ menu item > scroll down to Ice Hockey > NCAAM > from either Live or On Demand choose the game.

Only once did I need to search for a Cornell game.

During Period 3 the announcers mentioned that Mitchell limped off the ice and never mentioned his name again. Do any of you know if he ever returned to skate?

upprdeck

he was shaken up for a bit on the bench but took his ref shift pretty soon after that
