Quote from: TrotskyWith the other results tonight, Cornell has moved to 25th in PWR.

And UConn has dropped to 7 (from 5).

I guess the PWR is still a little volatile, huh?  ::whistle::

I know you can't play the puck with a broken stick. Does kicking at the puck count? Should've dropped the broken stick, I guess?

Fair point. Before New Years, the PWR is a shit show.

What does UConn and Stetson have in common? (But in a way UConn is more unique)

Art would know but I think you can be called for carrying a broken stick even if you are nowhere near the puck.

"A player whose stick is broken may participate in the game provided
the player immediately drops the broken stick."

We're up to 20 and UConn is down to 11.

Jason is bad at the internet.  We are 20th in PWR.  Now beat the snot outta Harvard.  It will be my first game in over 3 years.

Cornell looked like the quicker, stronger team all night. I don't know if UConn had an off night or what but they could barely generate anything and looked horrendous in the neutral zone in particular. Definitely a few skilled players up front but they were very neutralized and Shane didn't really have too many difficult saves.

Bring a few mackerel. It might help...
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

Best game Cornell has played since 2019-20. Cornell jumped on them in the first 1:15 and that obviously changed the complexion of the game, but Cornell skated with and out-gritted UConn all 60 minutes. UConn gave up a surprising amount of space and Cornell made them pay by connecting on some really nice passing plays. Cornell also had their sticks in the right position defensively all night long. I'm not sure UConn is really a top-10 team. Cornell still hesitates too long on the PP and that won't work against Harvard. The freshman forwards + Seger continue to impress. Shane had to make few difficult saves but was solid, only giving up a few rebounds.

Sorry.  30 years away from the Entitlement of the Acela Corridor has me wondering why we don't dump our nuclear waste there. In bulk.  Immediately.

I'm sure those condemned to lived there have their reasons.  < Caddyshack "Looks good on you" expression >

As a life long resident of the Acela corridor, I think I'll ignore what seems to be at best a random a provocation and at worse something a lot darker and stick to hockey or maybe leave the site. You want to dump nuclear waste on me. Ok.

You have to understand that Trotsky loves Cornell hockey and hates literally everything else.
