Is it at Princeton?

Yes.  Lower Alumni Field, where the barking ghost of Ned Harkness can still be heard late at night.

Loved just being able to stand on the sideline and watch the game with the same perspective as the players had on the opposite sideline.

Great interview with Gavin Adler on the Lacrosse Allstars podcast.  There's a link to the interview on the Cornell lacrosse Twitter page

Also, you could just walk to a spot where you wanted to view the action. I remember one game, against Brown I think, in which I moved to a spot almost to the restraining line of our offensive zone. There I watched Cornell midfield setup Harry Orr (yes, that Harry Orr) for one of his patented underhand shots, which won the game.

P.S. Gone are the days when a single guy can be a star in two sports and score with slap shots from the blue line and underhand shots from a few feet away from the restraining line.

Scrimmage in a week. First game in two weeks. March is going to be a tough month -- Ohio State, Penn State, Yale, Penn.

Attended Lacrosse scrimmage against Colgate.  Did not see Mike Long playing today and Aiden Blake only saw limited playing time.  They played 4 15 minute periods with the backups playing the final period.  Score was kept by quarters.  Final tally according to poster on Laxpower Forum was 11-6 Cornell.  The Colgate Goalie was really dialed in as he made some nice saves.  First half was fairly even but Cornell really dominated the 3rd period 5-1.  Defense was in "shut down" mode during that time either making Colgate run down the shot clock or turning the ball over.  Kirst was his usual self as one of his goals was a "no angle' shot.  Final period was 1-1 with Cornell's goal coming of off the Stanford transfer Reeder.

Thanks.   I'll see them play UAlbany on Saturday.   Anybody else going?

Except that Jeff Tambroni coaches Penn State and Milliman is at Johns Hopkins.

My bad. That was the Aultmore typing.

Inside Lacrosse is reporting that Maryland goalie Logan McAnaney, who was the biggest single reason Maryland beat us in last year's NC game, is out for the season with an ACL injury.
