QuoteNow is where I admit I had no idea where Bryant was until today.
I just had this conversation with my co-workers.  I had never heard of it, and tuition is $67k.

It's an expensive, "lightly" selective (~75% admitted), "liberal arts" college, mostly known for its business programs.
So.  Union.

Not exactly. E.g., Union accepts ~48% of applicants; Bryant, ~75%.
SLU?

Quote from: TrotskyBTW, TIL Bard has the third-most expensive tuition in the US.  That is funny.

Oleanders growing outside her door / Soon they're gonna be in bloom up in Annandale

I only learned what that meant about a year ago.

But, I mean, the band's name...

So would you expect anything less?

Interesting talmudic discussion of "My Old School" here.

IIRC, in the late 1960s Tompkins County had a DA who was almost as big an asshole as G. Gordon Licky. ::flipd::

Even less. SLUt accepted 46.1% of applicants in 2018. Bryant's mean SAT score is mid-1200's, SLUt's is mid-1300's.

Trotsky

Political and judicial officials who are generations behind the gen pop and reacting with increasingly authoritarian violence to the change in society.

That doesn't ring a bell at all.

Ah yes, I remember it well: "I am not yet convinced the Proctor is a horse's ass."

Quote from: ITHACA, N.Y. -- Inside Lacrosse has announced its 2023 All-Americans, and CJ Kirst and Gavin Adler have been named to the first team. Adler is a two-time first-team honoree, and one of two first-team awardees to be a unanimous selection. Kirst, an honorable mention in 2022, was one of two athletes to miss unanimous selection to the first team by one vote.

And yet, Adler wasn't a finalist for the Tewaaraton award.

In my opinion for what its worth-my all time Cornell defensemen are: Adler, Chris Kane, and Aaron Jones in no particular order.  Was disappointed in final outcome but it was a fun season.  The Cornell defense overall was not sharp towards end of season starting with the Princeton game.  Not enough of an expert to give a solid opinion why but noted in 4th quarter of Michigan game just could not get stops.  Am wondering if the Bryant transfer Abladian will get a chance to start on Attack next season.  On his limited appearances he displayed a pretty wicked outside shot.

Too soon?

Not too soon in that there'd be no good time for that one--definitely in poor taste.
