So apparently espn+ is not enough to get us the NC$$s?  I watched the end of regulation of the ND-ND game, and "sign in with your TV provider" came up while they were waiting for the replay.

Which ESPN will show this OT from Albany?
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

well that was a messed up ending..  one clock and goal light say good goal.. replay another clock say no goal..  very confusing

Galajda saved a penalty shot midway through third period to keep game tied at 1-1. ESPN announcers said Schafer was in Albany, apparently cheering Galajda on.

Denver up on Lowell, whose sweaters are a war crime.

But the ESPN app let me watch a half-hour or so under the espn+ tab, which was apparently a trial.  If I want to continue after the trial, I guess I have to call the cable company and make an appointment to have someone come to my house in a 4-hour window a couple of weeks from now, so that I can log in and watch ESPNU?  I would have thought in the streaming era that ESPN would have got rid of their propping up of cable providers.

ESPN probably makes more of their money from carriage fees than anything else. Fox makes a lot more from carriage fees than from ads. From what I understand, they don't actually need ads at all.

Western Michigan beat Northeastern 2-1 on a goal early in OT.

Michigan now manhandling AIC 2-0 halfway through the 1st, and it could be a lot worse. Michigan Freshman D Luke Hughes is absolutely filthy and he will be a great addition to the Devils, who already are loaded with excellent young talent.

Trotsky

AIC scores and has been better.

He is amazing for a 2003 birth year.  Absolutely controls the game offensively at times.  NCAA hockey will be good for him defensively...........can't just rely on skating ability.  But he is going to be really good.

Trotsky

The goaltending in this game is execrable.  5-2 early 2nd.
