Stienburg and Berard still out.  Is Mike back?

Trotsky

Yale really outhustling us here in the third, and Shane has left some big rebounds, but so far still 3-0.

I have not seen a single shot of our bench.  No idea.

Schafer's out. Ben Syer did the pre-game interview.

Al DeFlorio

Ugh.  Back to back penalties up 3-0.

Ben Tupker doing some fun bear wrestling behind the net, first he held the guy down, then vice versa.

Hope that's just protocols.

Not a surprise.  We have been a step behind Yale all period.

I haven't seen Andreev lately. Hope he's ok.

We are outshooting Yale 30-18.  Clarkson is outshootng Union 30-20 and is winning 8-2.

Not a great third period, but Shane played well when he needed to. Our power-play didn't look that good, but that's been the case much of the season.
The Yale announcers rarely called out the names of Cornell players when we had the puck. I also never heard them say that Schafer wasn't behind the bench. The Cornell ESPN play-by-play guy does a much better job of describing which players have the puck regardless of which team they are on.
I live about 2 miles from the Yale rink. It was sad not to be able to attend the game in person.

New Cornell record: most goalies with shutouts in one season: 3

4 for me. Agreed.

A workmanlike shutout over a Yale team that was clearly overmatched 5-on-5.

That Malone no-look pass... and Penney's conversion was lovely too.
