Ertel has been a healthy scratch 5/13 games this year. Lagerstrom is the 7th D. These guys haven't been on the ice enough to show promise, from what I've seen. So far, the only one who looks like a potentially dominant player is Rego.

Psenicka has shown a lot of puck skills for a guy of his size, and Kempf has been quietly noticeable, if that's a thing. Kempf seems to log a lot of minutes, and while I don't notice him making great plays, I also don't notice him making mistakes.

Kempf is already a workhorse. As an upperclassman he's going to be one of those guys who logs 35:00 TOI and plays first team pp and short.

Shane played better yesterday than he did in Saturday ;-).

But I'm guessing he played better than he had in practice, too. Practice and game play don't always correlate. Few thought Scrivens was going to be THE goalie and probably fewer thought he'd have a decent career in the NHL.

Shane earned a few more starts last night.

Freshman year Scrivens was pretty much this team: flashes of brilliance and painful misadventures.

coaches after game letter sheds some light on this past weekend.. half the team was out sick last month and only limited practices during that time.

NCHCTV which I'm sure will run ads for tractors and bounties on abortions. You can get a monthly pass for $30 or a day pass for $17 for either game. There are no promo codes on RetailMeNot.

I finally have a lucrative adult career and $25 for two games hurts.

I've also had these games circled on my calendar to attend since forever and then the pandemic happened. Then I thought maybe it could happen anyway and omicron happened.

Hopefully we play at one of the Minnesota schools or nebraska-omaha again soon.
