Quote from: jts15Some speculation about Cam Abbott being considered for the Red Wings coaching job . . .

If he gets it, I hope he does better than Ned.

Quote from: jts15Some speculation about Cam Abbott being considered for the Red Wings coaching job:

Swedish coaches Rikard Grönborg of Swiss club Zurirch and Roger Rönnberg of Frölunda have been mentioned in speculation regarding the Detroit job. Canadian Cam Abbott, who coaches Rögle in Sweden, is another who has been connected to Red Wings coaching rumors.

I have a friend who is a huge Wings fan and is sick of me talking about Cornell players. Would be great.

Would probably be fine if it was his team.  The Leafs, OTOH.

Imagine knowing the last act of a coach before they were fired was to sign you.

New coach bringing in another goalie as MSU picks up two more ecac transfers.

April story on Matt Moulson, out of the lineup since December with Hershey Bears of the AHL. Moulson has been pretty healthy most of his pro career. He turns 39 this fall. Moulson is one of the handful of not-yet-retireds from the 2003 draft (Patrice Bergeron, Zach Parise, Joe Pavelski, Marc-Andre Fleury, Ithaca's Dustin Brown).

Riley Nash is on Tampa, oh right.

I think he's the only Cornell alum left.

At this point, booing him is more of a fun tradition.
