Hope I'm not jinxing anything, but is seems time to move on from the 19-20 season thread.

Clarkson, Mercyhurst, Northern Michigan,  Bemidji State, UAH, LIU, and Oswego are all picking up players from the dormant and probably moribund UAA squad.  https://www.adn.com/sports/uaa-athletics/2020/12/29/as-the-uaa-hockey-team-fights-for-its-life-9-players-transfer-to-other-division-i-schools-with-more-likely-to-follow/

Per posts on the USCHO Cafe the state of Alaska threw in the towel on their hockey programs the instant their budgetary oil credits went tits up.

A year ago the governor squeezed the whole state university system with a 41% cut in funding, along deep cuts to Medicaid and other programs.  https://www.adn.com/alaska-news/education/2019/06/28/dunleavy-veto-is-devastating-says-university-of-alaska-president/

Facts, especially specifics - like "a 41% cut in funding" - take all the fun out of discussing hockey programs.

Game was delayed almost two hours because Colgate's Zamboni broke down; they had to borrow one from Hamilton College,

Since Hamilton College is not actually in Hamilton, NY, it must have taken a while to drive the Zamboniice resurfacing machine over.

The schools are about a 30 minute drive apart normally, but I'm sure lugging an ice surfacing machine would take a bit longer.

Colgate is also where a couple years back the Cornell-Colgate game was delayed because Cornell forgot to bring its game sweaters. Weird things happen.

Don't most rinks have two ice resurfacers, or at least keep the old one around and ready to go? Colgate just spent many millions on a new arena.

I'm also surprised that they may not have a 2nd one around.
