"Yay-el's" sounds better than "Yale is" because the latter is too clearly enunciated.  You can get away with it with "Prince-ton's in New Jersey" because the "ton" is secondary to the "Prince," but the "is" is equal strength with the "Yale," so you wind up tripping over the "is."

Drives me nuts when I hear the students past 2005 or so do the "FRUS-TRAAAAY-TED" cheer wrong. They've tried to jam the last 2 syllables together so it comes out "FRUUUUSSS-trated". It's the TRAAAAAAAY emphasis that is supposed to really twist the knife.

lol i turn on the game and cornell is up 3-0 after 1 and all i can think is "ah shit here we go again"

From what I saw, Cornell gave up nothing 5x5, but the PK had to get bailed out by a Yale goal being overturned by an offsides that occurred ten seconds before the shot and had little to do with the puck going in. Still, a pretty dominant effort on the road and a promising win (though no signs of the PK improving).
