Great to see. Am I the only who sees irony in Cole scoring on a penalty shot considering how bad we've been on them in the past 30 years (paging Trotsky for the stat)?

I have no recollection that Jillson had a penalty shot in that NCAA playoff game against Michigan.

I have no recollection that Jillson had a penalty shot in that NCAA playoff game against Michigan.

Maybe because Craig's OT GWG was so memorably gorgeous? (and because Jillson's penalty shot as usual didn't go in?)

Probably right on both counts.  Our OT goal was terrific.

He was up because the Isles went through a slew of injuries to forwards (while winning TEN IN A FUCKING ROW).  Hopefully he'll tear it up down there and get promoted again down the line.

The NHL All-Star weekend will include a women's 3 vs. 3 20 minute game, U.S. vs. Canada.  Cornellians Rebecca Johnston and Laura Fortino will be 2 of the players on Team Canada.

Watching the LV Phantoms game tonight on TV.  The announcer made a comment "Shot blocked by Willcox...as usual."  :-D

Happened to tune into the ECHL All-star game(s) on NHL network tonight.  Mitch Gillam was in goal for one of the teams.  

Unfortunately he gave up 6 goals in a 7 minute 3-on-3 period.  ::thud::
