For anyone going and not buying tickets from CU, CU is selling tickeyts in Sec 24.

Here's the LP ticket link.

Per Anne, Section 24 is being sold as "General Admission."

One slight irritation: the women's NC$$ SF will be simultaneous with the men's ECAC SF.

A win is a win, but given how we've played this second half + home games against Union, and how Brown is red hot, our chances don't look great...

Union is a very good team and we looked better than them all three games.

If we play a good game we should have a good shot against brown.

We bought seats in 24 right after the game, from the Cornell box office. They were selling actual seats in 24, and marking the sold seats on a seating chart. The two people in the two windows were coordinating with one person who had the actual tickets, and a third  map, and all three maps were being kept in sync.

So I believe Anne's information is faulty.

I may have boggled the message.  Or perhaps the ticket office sold her seats but told her "you get what you get."

Brown's a good team too. Won that crazy marathon against Princeton; then fought their way against QU coming from behind in the third (and a blocked empty net end of 2nd). Brown making Lake Placid this year isn't a fluke - they capitalized on opportunities when it counted these past 2 weeks. We've all watched enough hockey and sports to know how hot teams in post season is the most deadly...

Sure. Anything can happen and Brown's playing well. I just wanted to point out that Union's 7 seed undersold how good they are, and that taking two of three from them isn't an easy feat, even at home.

So anyone have a view whether meeting Brown on Olympic ice favors or disfavors Cornell? The old thinking when Cornell was big and bruising was the extra surface was a disadvantage. Is Cornell now built to take advantage of the ice vs Brown? Or is the regulation vs Olympic debate overblown?

Brown might be the hot new thing, but Cornell looked good this weekend against a better team than Brown. And if Bauld, Green, and Betts are finding their game and building confidence, the team may have found another gear.

Probably overblown and probably to our advantage in terms of style.

But I hate change so I don't like it at all. Similarly, I hate that matching minors result in a 4x4 (I know it would be a mess for getting guys out of the box at the right time otherwise).
