With the time difference and playing the late game, 11:30 EST, it'll be interesting to see how far in advance CU and OSU travel to Vegas. There's no doubt that Providence has gotten the best seed of the tourney.

Friday games in Las Vegas are Army-Providence and Cornell-Ohio State.

This tournament being hosted by an NHL team probably means it will be run and promoted really, really well.

Two observations from that link:  1) Do we have to call them Army West Point? Is there another Army academy? 2) The Army logo looks incredibly similar to the Vegas NHL logo, but sideways.

Don't get them started. In a couple years they'll want to The Army West Point. Thawp for short.

The Providence logo, sometimes it looks like a stylized X, sometimes it looks light a visual trick ("Do you see a wine glass or 2 faces?"). It could also be a canine lifting the left rear leg to pee on a hydrant.

looks like the games are only on BTN+, a subscription service (and WHCU but it's unclear to me if that will be online)
