Who do you want to win? Considering nothing but these games, I'd root for SLU. However if Cornell is to have any chance at the NCAAs, that can't happen. In fact either Q or Harvard has to win. As hard as it is to do it, that means I have to root for Harvard. No way can I root for Q. Their fans are much worse than Harvard's non-fans. I don't like Harvard getting closer to our ECAC record, but what choice do I have? Q was so nice that they told the band they couldn't play Gary Glitter/Rock & Roll Part2. Why, because their fans got too vulgar with the lyrics. So, do they police their fans? No, they penalize us. Sorry Q, but as hard as it is, I gotta go with Harvard.

We have five games against Q this season (so far), so their wins will improve our PWR more than those of a team against which we played twice.  Root for Q and suppress your gag reflex.

Also, the sooner Q wins the NC$$ the sooner they'll leave for HE.

Dartmouth with zero votes warms my heart.

Nope, can't do it. Can't vote for Harvard, Gaudet, or Q.

I'm with you Age.  SLU for me.  If Q or H wins and it helps us back in to the tournament great.

Check the Bracketology thread, where this has been discussed. There seem to be some other channels, at least with TW, that will be showing the semis.

Here's what Steve Hagwell had to say to me, in an email, about the choice of ASN:

"In terms of television, the American Sports Network (ASN) is an extremely viable option. ASN produced and air nearly 30 Division I men's college hockey games this year. The network syndicates and/or clears games across the country on regional networks, as well as local cable outlets. If our games are not available or cleared in certain areas, it may be that the local network already has commitments or is not interested in airing the games."

Given his history, I'll be he even believes that nonsense!!   ::asshole::

Looking at the Fan Guide, it looks like the only two viewing options in NYS are Buffalo & NYC....  Great job, Steve!!!    Now, how many ECAC schools are in NYS??    Let me count.......

Shaggy actually seems to be a hard-working guy with a sense of humor.  What do you expect him to say: "I'm selling a shit sandwich and nobody's buying.  Would you like to try to do better"?

Agreed, what else can he say?  Also as  I've mentioned twice before it's on TW Cable and over the air broadcast in the Albany market.

Why not pile on the NCAA for agreeing to use ESPN2 for the Frozen Four? And while we're at it we can begin bitching about that insurance giant's commercials that we'll undoubtedly see next week during the regionals.

Those who don't want to kvetch have the option to go the the effin' rink(s).
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

SNY is showing no live games today.  SNY has a much wider broadcast spectrum and they are doing the game on Sat .  sounds like they sold the games to ASN and then didnt really care if many of the areas that matter didnt get a buy in locally.

TV ratings are low for this anyway so how much would have ASN have offered them vs other ways of getting the games on the air?  i supposed not selling to anyone in NY would mean 4-5 more people drive to Place on a WHIM.
