Why is the home Harvard game the same weekend (last weekend of Winter Break) every year now? Many students won't even be back that Friday.

Why does Winter Break even exist, moving Spring Break to a non-sensical time?

I consider this a rumor, since I have no idea who this blog is run by, or their credentials/credibility:

And he's right.

"Pre-sale" started this morning at 10am with no warning, incidentally. You need a Cornell NetID of some kind - student, faculty, alumni, staff - to sign in. Regular sale starts Monday.

Well, MSG has officially jumped the shark

Merrimack released their schedule today (7/6).  It only shows them hosting one game against Cornell on Saturday, Jan 7.

Actually that's not exactly the case. Cornell will also visit Merrimack on Friday Oct 28th for a single game alone with returning on Jan 7th  for another single game. Very strange.

Good catch.  I wasn't looking for the date in Oct so I only saw the one game in January.

Maybe the coaches wanted to spread the games out a bit so the two teams didn't face each other three times within 10 days or so.

Unusual (unfortunate for diversity of schedule) that Cornell both plays Merrimack twice and has the potential of playing them in the Florida tournament. Gives Cornell a game there before the games the next weekend at Dartmouth and Harvard.

gtsully

Official schedule posted, except for Florida opponents.

In conference play, 5 of last 7 and 9 of last 13 at home.
