Interesting that a kid who's not even 16 was concerned that he needed to act "before the opportunity could've slipped through my fingers..." While we know flipping commitments is becoming rather routine, it's good to know that at least for now he's honed-in on Cornell.

Hopefully this rising sophomore has enough of a work ethic off the ice to have a chance at getting accepted into Cornell.

We finally have a goalie recruit on-board, Matt Galajda from the Victoria Grizzlies of the BCHL. Last year as the Grizzlies' primary goaltender, he went 18-22 with a 2.70 GAA and .910 save percentage for a team that finished under .500.

He's a '97, already 6-3 201 D with 19-29-48 ahem 72 in 44 GP in the GOJHL last year.  He will be at Penticton in the BCHL this year.  He's from Waterloo, ON.

In this article, where it was announced he was named top defenseman of the GOJHL, he is listed as 6'4." By the time he gets to Cornell he ought to be 6'7"
