For those interested in good women's hockey, today's Beanpot Final, between Harvard and BC, is on ESPN3.

I prefer hockey played by bad women...

Female hockey players drinking beer. Damn - that's hot.::dribble::

The women are looking to break a nasty 3-game losing streak tonight. Last two regular games for them as they finish up in the capital district.

Women come from 2-0 to win 3-2 and sweep SLU. Next weeks ECAC Semi and Finals look to be at Clarkson. All top seeds sweep.

It's very likely the women will have to win the tournament again to play in the NCAA's. Quite a different scenario than last year.

I missed it last week, but Brianne Jenner is a Round-of-10 Finalist for the Patty Kazmaier Award. She is one of four Seniors, and the only Eastern Finalist outside of Boston.  U of Minnesota and BC each have three Finalists.

Jenner did not, unfortunately for us, make the Final 3, announced today.

Even better, the women come from behind to beat Clarkson.  Two, if not all three of our goals scored in the third period.

All three.  I picked up the feed at 1-0 Clarkson, second intermission.

The three came in quick succession starting with a PPG.  The third was not an ENG, as one might have assumed.

I've now watched a grand total of one women's hockey period this season.  I picked the right period.
