Yep, I bought it.  It's still on an event splash screen, but it appears to be potentially maybe working.  Perhaps.

No problem.

Unfortunately it does not seem to have had any positive effect.

I did get three e-mail messages in reply, all within three minutes. The first was an automated response acknowledging receipt of the support ticket. The second was a message asking me to complete a survey on my customer service experience with them. (It's a pretty safe bet I will be completing that survey.) The third e-mail is copied below. It too felt like it could have been automated, or at least very much a form e-mail, but since it came a little later, and unlike the first message did not say that it was automated, I actually would tend to think that a person did in fact send that third message, which was delivered at 7:42 PM.

Oh well.

for me i think the lack of response is worthy of a complaint to the credit card and get a full refund.. at this point doesnt matter if they fix the issue or not.. its a win win.

I don't think it will take having to go to my credit card company. I think America One will just refund the money. I'll wait until after the game to make the request though.

Also for small amounts like this many credit card companies / banks will just refund your money and eat the cost themselves, rather than go through the process of taking it back from the merchant (which would then allow the merchant to dispute the issue, etc.) All banks have different threshold amounts for this kind of thing, but $10 is a pretty small amount, and I expect many banks would just eat that cost themselves, which really does not accomplish what I'd like to accomplish here, which is making sure America One does not benefit from this.

I had written again just before the start of the second, responding to the e-mail that they had sent me. Whether or not that helped is anyone's guess.

By the way, just to be clear, I also agree that a full refund is in order. The only reason I am waiting until after the game to ask for it is I don't want to give them the opportunity to say, "Fine, here's your money back, but we're disabling your ability to watch the game."
