Millman was .737 at Cornell in 2-1/2 seasons (including Covid 2020). At Hopkins, Millman .519 in 5 years. His mixed success at Hopkins suggests he might not be able to win at the highest levels consistently.

I believe there is something special about Connor Buczek that got Cornell to the 2022 final and then to the pinnacle last month. I'd also like to have a Cornellian coaching. Even if more of our greatest coaches over the short or long term in the past were not: Harkness, Moran, Donahue. Against Mike Schaffer and now, Buczek. I'm sure I'm forgetting other Cornell alumni coaches.

Solid start from Jaques.

Jenny Graap, woman's lacrosse; Doug Derraugh, women's hockey; Wes Newman, swimming; Mike Grey, wrestling.  Joanna Novakovic just resigned from her position as coach of the equestrian team.  Julie Platt Farlow coached softball until recently.  And there may be others in sports I don't follow closely.

"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

Every time there is a new post in this thread and I see the words "Ben DeLuca fired", I think "again?"
