And a non-fan started the thread and it will devolve into a debate over whether it should be here or JSID.

Amazing indeed. Hard to believe a team can go 50 years and not pitch a no-hitter. Thread will branch into whether New York fans are more obnoxious than the rest, was that shot down the line really foul, somebody will recall David Einhorn '92 may or may not buy the Mets, devolving to rant about Wall Street criminals --> Occupy Wall Street. Maybe it's time for an off-season a six-degrees contest:

1. Mets throw first no hitter.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6. Academic calendar change might keep Rob Pannell from returning next year [or]
6. Hoy Field needs to remain a playing field [or]
6. Rosebud Woods was too ecologically diverse to have become a parking lot for faculty too lazy to take mass transit

2. David Einhorn almost bought the Mets
3. David Einhorn went to Cornell
4. Cornell might change it's academic calender.

I got to Rob Pannell in just 5 steps.

Einhorn has been out for some time now.  But Bill Maher '78 bought a piece of the team. . .
