Seems hard to believe since two losses would be against TUCs. But in playing around with the possibilities I could not get us lower than 14.

So, naturally, Yale loses. Let's just take care of business in AC next weekend and not worry about the PWR.

On that note, and I know this doesn't belong in this thread, but does anyone know if the athetics department gets a ticket allotment? I'd like to make the trip down to AC from NYC next weekend, but can only make the Saturday session. Before I buy on ticketmaster, I thought I'd see if CU had a particular section.

Cornell should have a ticket allotment. (Cornell ticket office has also had AC ECACs ticket brochures since last fall.) Not sure if they just sell the weekend package. But AC has ~10,000 seats and most are empties (except for NJ HS wrestling when the place is full). Just buy any ticket for Saturday and move around.

Cornell goes to the ECAC final four for the fifth year in a row.  They have not done that since 1977 (when they completed their remarkable 12-year run).

It is their 34th trip to the ECAC F4.  Since Schafer became coach (17 seasons):

13 Cornell
 9 Harvard*
 7 Clarkson
 6 Colgate*
 6 Dartmouth
 6 St. Lawrence
 5 Princeton
 4 RPI
 3 Yale*
 3 Vermont-Quinnipiac*
 2 Brown
 2 Union

* still in contention this year

1978, 1983, 1987. The only three years where Cornell and Clarkson were both absent.  Pretty remarkable.

Thus pray for no dark horse conference tourney winners. ::worry::

Just got Ticketshafted.  CU in AC!

And yes, buy a ticket anywhere.  Sit where you want.

With Yale dropping out as a TUC we drop to 12th

By winning tonight Harvard blew their chance to do something amazing.  With a loss they would have finished the season with more ties than any other result (10-10-11), something no team may ever have done for a season with a non-trivial number of games.

We now lose the comparisons with Michigan and Minnesota but flipped Michigan State and Denver to wins (Denver v. Wisconsin pending).

edit: Denver won last night so they are winning the comparison with us.  And we took back the comparison with Minnesota.  Not sure why we were losing it temporarily last night.

What happens if Yale wins tomorrow? Would that help us?

Yes, we want them to get to the ECAC final.
