Union just picked up a penalty to negate their PP. 4-4 hockey for a bit.

You don't become a TUC even if your RPI is ABOVE .500 and you win a tournament.  Not automatically.  So if your RPI is .5008 and you win a conference tournament, you still don't automatically become one.  It's just the Top 25 of RPI.

While I agree with you about B2's terrible performance during the playoffs, wasn't the provider we hated so much over the last couple years CSTV? I don't think B2 had anything to do with it.

Yup, it was CSTV's AllAccess, no connection to B2 - although I believe B2 has carried the Everblades tourney before.
