I think we have to cut back max's play or we're going to keep getting burned with him on defense. That moose goal was pretty though. :)

Maybe the coach should have him play attack a bit.

Well not the prettiest start, though we've done a good job to get back into it. Gotta hand it to Albany, they are by no means a pushover (for the first 10 minutes, we were). We're gonna have to play our best, and maybe a bit better than we have been.

That was really stressful to watch. See some of you in Baltimore next weekend.

Unbelievable game.  #1 vs. #4 should never have happened in the quarterfinals.

Yes, lax OT is incredibly tense. But oh so worth it!

Siebald closing a 5 yard gap with a sprained ankle and making an insane stick check to set up the winning goal was simply unreal. Wow.

Absolutely. If I had to pick a play of the game, that'd be it. Unreal effort, and really shows how the 'little' things can mean so so much.

If he wins it, and they show only one highlight clip it'll probably be the Syracuse last second goal, but they should show this one. Wow, indeed. ::woot::

I think this game shaved five years off my life (it probably would have been ten if Cornell lost it). Is 30 minutes after too soon to watch it again on my Tivo? :-)

What the hell are you waiting 30 minutes for?!? ;)

Good reading.  Loves Seibald.  Promises Seibald sidebar later.

Hard to choose between that and Mitchell's no-look goal to close the first. The difference between 3-1 and 3-2 was huge for both teams. Queener looked a little dispirited - though he continued to be (IMHO) the player of the game. Seibald can share the honor with the guy who made the amazing save to send the game into OT.

Fantastic win. I'm about to start a recap thread if it hasn't been started already.
