I think the best part of the third Moulson goal was that he called for the puck knowing he was gonna shoot that wrister, and then did it and scored. It was fun to watch.

If Brown just knocks off Harvard on Tuesday then everything's great -- #1 seed and Ivy title.

Twice good, one time lucky every game will get you 100 points in a single season.

For Mayotte, it was not as horrible a give-away as the first (?) Qunnipiac goal in the NCAAs 2-3 years ago when the goalie in front of the net cleared a long shot ... back right into Cornell's stick and it took a pee-wee-level deke to get around the goalie and sink the shot. Still, it was a cheap goal and, as they see, it counts the same on the scoreboard as Bobby Orr's cup winner.

3-2-1 - not including miami-fairbanks tied 1-1 :)

I actually thought the crowd was decent tonight.  Certianly better than last night.  Mayotte took some pretty good abuse and did look up during one of our jeers.

Nice analysis Greg.  Except that Colgate swept Harvard, which means the fact that Colgate is a guaranteed top 4 automatically gives the Red-Crimson tiebreaker to Cornell.

Trotsky

I'll be damned, you're right.

So the magic number, for Cornell vis-a-vis Harvard, is 1 point.

I thought I had eyeballed it and concluded that Colgate finishing in the top 4 gave us that tiebreaker...

....Cornell is unlikely to not win the ECAC RS title. ....As has been noted elsewhere, Cornell has once before gone into the final weekend needing just 1 point out of 4 to clinch the ECAC title ... and not done it. But that was long ago with a different coach and different players. [/q]

Well if we don't take the RS title then at least we will know who to blame:)

The Woofing Gods have been angered. Heed them.

I suppose we have beaten up enough on Bill for a while.

I didn't see Cam Abbott on the gametracker lines.  Did he play this weekend?  If not, when is his anticipated return (if it's OK to ask that)?

profudge

Cam did not play this weekend  -  I won't speculate on his return - although the sooner he is healthy the better -  He is definitely a fan favorite almost every game I have been to last couple of years  (count me in also!) .

This is not the NHL. They've made that announcement after hat tricks in the past and they damn near threw me out at RPI for doing it. (It WAS a hat trick, dammit)
