Quote from: BearLoverAgain, congrats to everyone here who was rooting for Rand/Q to win the national championship.

Which includes Schafer.

So.  You were saying something?
Source? Anyway, it doesn't really matter what Schafer said publicly. Never in a million years is a coach going to admit that he was rooting against a member of his own league.

Source for your take on Schafer's actual state of mind?

Right. None. That's what I thought.

My source is that Schafer and Pecknold have had bad blood for at least a decade now?  As seen in the article I already cited above?

I've heard it put that Schafer doesn't like Pecknold's attitudes when it comes to recruiting, transfers, poaching players, etc. but thinks he an "OK person."  Whether that constitutes "bad blood" I can't say,

This is a much more reasoned take that gives some info but knows better than to draw an inference.

Assuming one bad incident = bad blood ten years later is a reach, to say the least.

Bearlover, it's your absolutism and lack of nuance...

I'll admit I have bad blood towards Pecknold, and I was starting to forget why until the Bardreau incident came back up.
