besides McKee not getting a(nother) shutout, do we lose anything for allowing that goal?

Well, McKee's other stats (SV%, GAA) are slightly worse than if he hadn't let the goal in, but otherwise, McKee did all he could.

Is next year here yet?

I am VERY impressed with our play tonight!! 2nd period was a little weak, yet we were STILL scoring...

Nice to see.. I just love it. Keep it up REDDDDD

I wasn't able to attend tonight so was wondering whether Gita Fouladgar-Mercer ("Hockey Mom") was in attendance for her son's final game at Lynah?  She is a great fan.  An "era" ends with Sharam graduating.

Game was awesome!   Team played hard and hustled.   A bit better puck movement by PP units.   Evan S.  looked good  making mostly good decisions and threw one really nice old fashioned hip check later in game.

I was worried by  Ryan O. and Paul V. taking some unneeded penalties...  As well as Greg H.  getting called for elbowing right at beginning of third period.   Ref seemed to call a fair and good game  !!! :-)

Mckee looked good and the princeton goal was scored by good play and missed defense and quick pass to the open man.

Shane H.  and Moulson and Bitz  had a great game!   John Gleed is looking more confident as season progresses - a big plus.

Only worry I saw was again we don't seem to be winning as many faceoffs as I'd like ...  Ryan V.  is obviously our best and after him there is a dropoff in the success rate.

Lets rock Lynah tonight -   Go Big Red!

P.S. best wishes for speedy recovery to Dan G.

It's about time I posted my thoughts on the game.  (I was working last night so I wasn't able to do so then.)

- It was nice to see Cornell thoroughly dominate a team at home.  It's too bad that we can only do it over the bottom of the barrel of the conference (Vermont and Princeton).
- I love Vesce and hope he continues to get better, but I'm really starting to like the Moulson-Bitz-Hynes line.  They were responsible for more than half of our goals in the game, after all.  I think these three are working well together and I hope they can lead us to a rejuvenated offense in the postseason.
- Congrats to Salmela on his first collegiate goal!
- Varteressian took two stupid penalties that just didn't help things.  What's worse is that he two in a row.  Luckily Princeton's mostly powerless play couldn't capitalize on the opportunity.  Still, if this happened against any other team, I'd be pissed as all hell.
- Now that we've bitchslapped Princeton, let's give Yale the same, or worse.  LET'S GO RED!!!
