The second period is over.  To Princeton's credit, it has exceeded Vermont's shot output last Saturday.  Cornell is outshooting Princeton 26-11.

Grant Geockner-Zoeller put the Tigers on the board.  Cornell tried to send Shane Hynes in on a breakaway, but turned the puck over instead.

Evan Salmela lit the lamp with a perfectly placed wrist shot one second before the first Princeton penalty was set to expire.  This was his first NCAA goal and point.
