Quote from: dbilmesAs someone who lives less than 25 miles from Hamden, and over the past five years (thanks to 2 playoff series) have watched more games at Q than at any other rink, I agree completely with everything you said. You also omitted the terrible post-game traffic jams, which often result of taking 20 minutes or longer just to get down the long driveway leading up to the rink.

The food was terrible, and the portions so small!

Since that building opened I've wondered why they have a permanent median on the driveway that prevents them from adjusting the number of lanes in and out before and after games there.

They ran a poll and the median won in a landslide.
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

Story in N.Y. Times about controversy over Big Ten's push to restrict impact of 24-year-old players in college hockey. Shockingly enough, Quinnipiac is opposed!

Seems like everyone on this board is just upset Q has replaced Cornell as the best program in the conference. Didn't we used to recruit overage players during the Baby Murray years too?

We still do.  Kaldis is going to be 21 before he ever plays a game for us.

The TBRW scoring reports have ages, if you want a glance at whether ages are changing.  I will put together a GP-weighted age score for each season sometime, but for a taste in 2000 our three leading scorers were all 24.
