I suppose I'm one of the offenders in the "trips down memory lane" department, but it's difficult not to respond in that way when calgAri is brutally brutal towards the team.  I mean, his brutal analyses of their brutal play can be pretty brutal to read; they are particularly brutal on historical perspective.  Were there some sort of ray of (brutal?) hope in his brutality, the reactions of many on eLF would be far less brutal.

For me it's simply a matter of tone:  bitter, angry, almost vindictive, rather than analytical.  It reads like Ari thinks the team and its coach owe him something.
