They need to win, baby girl will be born tomorrow since she won't make her appearance before midnight. I may have made my husband watch the semi-final game since laboring mom gets to choose the channel.

Quote from: Jim HylaI just got an email from Chelsea Nunn at NeuLion. She states that at this time it's not expected to be available on smartphones or settop boxes, but that might change. If you're really interested in that, I'd suggest you email NeuLion +/or the leaque and "nicely" say how happy you are that this is happening, and how much you'd like the other options. NeuLion does have the capacity to do it.
I know this is lazy of me, but do you know to whom I should address an email if I say I want it available on my Roku - because that would be pretty sweet.

The email addresses are at the end of the Ivy League press release. I sent to Chelsea Nunn at NeuLion, but I think cc to both would be the best, and the more that send in, the better. So if you know other Ivy school grads, encourage them to add to the mix.

Oh hell, here are the email addresses. I felt I might as well make it as easy as possible (for those who are lazy).:-}

You're the best, Jim!

I borrowed a little bit of Kyle's formatting and basic set of requests modifying them to be my own. Can't wait to see what we'll get from them. Fingers crossed it'll play via an iPad app where I can stream it to my TV or through the Roku.

Fingers crossed that if I agree to work Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after that I can get that weekend off. One of the downsides of starting work at a hospital is being low on the totem pole when it comes to days off around holidays. One of the upsides of working 15 minutes from where I grew up is I can work 7a-3p on Thanksgiving and still be home for dinner.

This was extremely clear and easy to sort through. I appreciate the time you spent on it.

Well that's a fine "thank you"!  :-}
Thank you. We did have fun with the set. Although we learned, the cheap plastic darts that don't separate the tail work better when playing in a parking lot without a snow pack to soften the impact when missing the can. Valuable research performed in the name of slightly dangerous drinking games (Robin may have hit my leg several times).

Quote from: ugarteMy energy for lamenting quick whistles was almost completely sapped in 1990 and disappeared in 2011 at MSG.

Yes. I watched him do a little test skate in a little loop in front of the bench during a stopage, then he went out the next shift. He was out for probably 4-5 shifts plus a TV timeout.

Per Ben Scrivens' tweet, Riley Nash was also called up today.

Vanessa has acquired Beer Darts from Josh '99, since he's being lame and not coming. We will be tailgating either behind the stadium or in the B School parking lot before the game. We will also be hitting up Harpoon Brewery if anyone would like to join somewhere around 12:30-1.

I'm also using Chrome and it goes to the Games Over/Under .500 page for me. I'm on Chrome on OSX 10.8 - not sure if that makes a difference compared to what Kyle's running.

When I was getting all the information from my Congressman, he made it pretty clear that it was 1 year to make up your mind and if you started Sophomore year you started owing them. That was in 2005 when I graduated from high school, and I was going to be a varsity athlete had I gone (for rowing which I did do at Cornell). Unless he was misinformed, that's where I got my info. Since I didn't end up going to Annapolis, and have now been commissinoed without going through ROTC, I don't know the specifics beyond that.

In regards to restitution to an Academy - if you leave before you take your Oath which is the beginning of Sophomore year. So you can only be there for one year without owing them anything. I got an appointment to Annapolis before deciding that I wanted a typical college experience, and came to Cornell, rather than such a structured one. And hey I still managed to become an officer in the end (Navy Nurse Corps).

Quote from: munchkinSo we're going to have an Angello and a DeAngelo on the team at the same time. That won't be confusing.
Who is this DeAngelo you speak of?

Quote from: SwampyHe's not to be confused with Anthony DeAngelo, the youngest player ever in the USHL, who's committed to BU.

munchkin just misread. There will be one Angello in Ithaca and one DeAngelo in Boston.
Yup, I tend to skim the forums each morning, and I remembered reading DeAngelo on this thread. Didn't catch that he wasn't a future Big Red.
