Re: Bardreau to U.S. National Junior Team - 11 years ago
Cole's line has drawn two German penalties in the first 6 minuteas of the game. Both drawn by his right winger Ryan Hartman. 1-0 team USA on a goal on the first shift of the game. I don't think he'll end up with a point, but Cole was parked in front of the net for a Trouba slapshot that made it 2-0 8:30 into the first. After the first period, 3-0 team USA. Cole +1, his line draws two Gerby Ronald '09 - Hockey

Trotsky Ronald '09 Cole makes the final roster, and not only that, will wear an A on his jersey for approximately half the games. So that means we won't have him for Estero definitely and likely not for Denver either unless team USA is out very early. Americans in back-to-back years. That's not right. Re: Bardreau to U.S. National Junior Team - 11 years ago
Just a heads up for everyone watching the games, one of the top line forwards on team USA is Boston College's John Gardreau, so listen carefully before assuming they're calling Cole's name. Does anyone know when they're making the final cuts? If I'm not mistaken, there's 26 on the current roster for 23 final spots, with most likely one forward and two defensemen to cut.by Ronald '09 - Hockey

Brown up 1-0 on Maryland about a third of the way through. Can't imagine they can actually hold on though. Streaming video: EDIT: Maryland ties it very late in first half. Amazing strike. Not Zlatan amazing but pretty damn good. EDIT: Maryland buries a set piece in the 90th minute to take the lead. EDIT: Fulltime, 2-1 Maryland. cbuckser Michigan's rivals.com site is reporting it, too. That article notes that the contract still hasn't been signed. But all indications over the last four months point toward this game being played in Madison Square Garden. Re: Generic Off Season Thread - NCAA rules changes - 11 years ago
Rita billhoward Jim Hyla Latest from USCHO on possible rules changes. The NCAA wants fewer tie games but doesn't want to go to 4x4 in OT or have shootouts. So the only thing left is 10- or 20-minute OTs ... and more wear on players. If Cornell is a defense-minded team, then playing 4x4 in OT would seem like playing on an Olympic sheet and not be to our style. What is wrong with a hard fought tiby Ronald '09 - Hockey

upprdeck what happens to kids that graduate in 3 years? are they told they cant play a 4th year? Yeah, Jordan Kary of the hockey team is an example.
