Re: LISTEN TO OSU GAME FREE! - 21 years ago
Columbus is on Eastern Standard Time -- same as New York and east coast folks -- so the game time remains "7:05".by Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: Cornell at Ohio State, November 1 - 21 years ago
I guess he means Abbott, and darn it, I forgot which one took the hit. I believe it was Cam. We also played with 7 D-men on Sunday night, so maybe the mysterious 4 includes one being shifted out of the rotation tonight.by Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: Injury report for OSU - 21 years ago
I heard that Moulson may need 3 weeks to heal. Nothing definite though. Hopefully we see him on the ice next weekend, but if he's not ready, he obviously shouldn't be rushed. No need to push a freshman (or pretty much anyone, for that matter) through an injury.by Jordan 04 - Hockey
Moulson - 21 years ago
FWIW, the Sun this morning has Moulson's injury reported as "little more than a bruised knee." And from the sound of the game recap, the Sun's take on things appears to be worth nothing -- once again.by Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: Cornell vs. York, 10/27 - 21 years ago
moulson (somebody give that kid a beer) looked pretty hurt. the hit could have been legal if the kid hadnt gone so low Here's hoping Mouslon's ok. It seemed like he was skating ok directly after the hit, but I guess we'll know soon the extent of the injury, if he incurred one. He looked very good at Red/White, and I thought he looked great tonight, so hopefully he's alright. The entire fresby Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: Scoreboard - 21 years ago
Upon seeing the scoreboard before, I commented that I really hope they don't put up lame cheers and words of encouragement on the text portion of the scoreboard. Unfortunately, to no availby Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: Cornell vs. York, 10/27 - 21 years ago
Jordan, not only did you give no details for those of us who are thousands of miles away sitting in silence and updating eLF every 5 seconds, YOU DIDN'T EVEN SAY WHICH TEAM WON!!!! (Sorry for yelling, but I was a little perturbed.) Misunderstanding here.... I was at the game. Difficult to give updates from there Posted this upon returning home.by Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: Cornell vs. York, 10/27 - 21 years ago
Jordan, that's just mean. ? If you're referring to me not putting which team was victorious...I didn't think it was much of a question if you came here and just saw the score. Do you have that little faith in the team? If you're referring to me just giving the score and nothing about the game, I leave that to others, who always seem to have a closer eye on the action and give betterby Jordan 04 - Hockey

Re: Ticket Line - 21 years ago
I too am on a shift break, so I'll chime in. I don't know who's voting in the poll but to have twice as many "bumblef*ck" votes as "better" votes is ridiculous. How one could view this year's process as anything but better than last year is beyond me. The key ingredient is here this year -- "official" supervision. Sure, maybe a couple kids managed to sneak in herby Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: OT: Baseball scoring - 21 years ago
Actually, from what I can decipher from rules 10.08 and 10.09, , plus the this portion, HOW TO PROVE A BOX SCORE (c) A box score is in balance (or proved) when the total of the team's times at bat, bases on balls received, hit batters, sacrifice bunts, sacrifice flies and batters awarded first base because of interference or obstruction equals the total of that team's runs, players left on base aby Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: OT: Baseball scoring - 21 years ago
1) A player bats in place of the DH. Is he a pinch hitter, or just the new DH? Rules 6.10 -- Pinch hitters for a Designated Hitter may be used. Any substitute hitter for a Designated Hitter becomes the Designated Hitter. So, just like any other situation, when the guy comes to bat, he's a pinch hitter, then he becomes the DH. Unless of course you want to put him out in the field, but tby Jordan 04 - Hockey

Re: LeNeveu at Canadian Training Camp - 21 years ago
In terms of statistics..... David finishes the camp #1 in GAA....at 4.97. #2 in save %, at 85.71. Those Red/White games must have been like watching a tennis matchby Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: LeNeveu at Canadian Training Camp - 21 years ago
David LeNeveu of Fernie, B.C., was the only goalie who played well as he stopped 20 of 22 shots. No suprise really. Lenny's seasoned....he's got Red/White game experience.by Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: Same Underhill? - 21 years ago
Yes. It is him. Underhill will be entering his first professional season after completing a standout collegiate career at Cornell University which included being named a first-team All-American last season. A sixth round pick (#170 overall) of the Calgary Flames in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, Underhill played in 88 games over four years with the Big Red. The 6'2" 210-pounder posted a 42-31by Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: David LeNeveu - 21 years ago
"Le Nev you" Accent on second syllable. I've heard most (including announcers) pronounce it with emphasis on the first syllable. Occasional pronounciation with emphasis on the 3rd. But never have I heard it pronounced it with "nev" accented. I belive LEN-i-view would be more appropriate?by Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: [OT] Sarah Hughes Sighting - 21 years ago
Yeah. I didn't mean to insinuate that you stole it from him. He just mentioned how she got a nice ovation upon her introduction. Then after throwing the pitch, there were mixed boos, because, "well, she throws like a girl."by Jordan 04 - Hockey

Re: 2003 NCAA Tickets - 21 years ago
Flat out lying about facec value is commonplace on eBay. And as per my last report of someone, they do nothing about it. I rececived a response that eBay is not responsible for what people report as the face value.by Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: [OT] Clemens soooooooo gets what he deserves. - 21 years ago
I'll go with Mike Francesca (sp?) when it comes to NY sports Big mistake there. The guy knows little yet pretends to know it all. But if he's backing Piazza, and a Met, on this issue, then they must really be in the right, if even Francessa can't put a pompous Yankee spin on it.by Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: [OT] Clemens soooooooo gets what he deserves. - 21 years ago
Fans will be fans. Friday night was quite possibly the worst loss Mets fans have experienced in the last 2 years. Hell, I felt worse last night than I did after Kenny Rogers' ball 4. So what's comical is to listen to the FAN after that game and expect that to be the forum for logical discussion from Mets fans on the whole Clemens issue. Everything said in the last week, last night, and prettyby Jordan 04 - Hockey
