Josh '99 Tangent: I find it unnecessarily confusing that there's both a George Gwozdecky and a Guy Gadowsky. This!by Jordan 04 - Hockey

Re: Conference Tournaments / NCAA Bubble - 11 years ago
kingpin248 Jim Hyla Trotsky It's the quietest rink I've ever heard. Brown must think it's a home game. Not that it's accurate (they probably don't want to publish the real number), but from the boxscore: Attendance: 0 I recall this happening last year. Since it's a single ticket for both games, possibly they won't have the number until after the second game? Yeah, they're probably missingby Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: HARVARD SUCKS - 11 years ago
Trotsky Jordan 04 I hope Arizona beats them by 50.Meh, I'm OK with them playing well. It helps the conference overall, and thus us. Having the Ivy get blown out makes prospects doubt the quality of play in the league. Rising tide and all that. That's fair; Harvard playing well probably helps the conference. I hope Arizona beats them by 50.by Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: Cornell-Bucknell Lacrosse - 11 years ago
ithacat Stunning loss. Bucknell had only beaten one team with a winning record, with a very ugly loss on its resume. To blow a 5-0 lead to the Bison makes me have no worries about making alternative plans for Memorial Day. Why are we so quick to give up on our teams' seasons this year? Plus, I've been hearing a lot of chatter this week about a Bucknell upset, so it wasn't entirely umexpectedby Jordan 04 - Other Sports
Re: Game 3 v. Q - 11 years ago
The age thing is kinda weird. They have a ridiculous number of '87-'89s. Although I suppose that should have give us the advantage in OT, paying against a bunch of tired, old men.by Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: Quarterfinals at Q - 11 years ago
rdez79 the key today is get a good 1st period either tied or ahead and playing well. Or fall behind but come back to win like we did just 2 nights ago against the same opponent. The only cliché that applies tonight is "win or go home."by Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: Game 3 v. Q - 11 years ago
What does he need to tell them? "Go win or your season's over"?by Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: Quarterfinals at Q - 11 years ago
Was Andy reinserted simply to spare Kanji further embarrassment? If so, that seems pretty classy as Coach could have easily continued to make Kanji the sacrificial lamb in preparation for tonight's game.by Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: A proposal - 11 years ago
It's no worse than a 1-0 loss. Tomorrow's a new day.by Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: We can't possibly win - 11 years ago

Re: Quarterfinals at Q - 11 years ago
Johnny 5 gored Although I am sure this is posted elsewhere (I didn't have the energy to search), Sat game is televised live on NESN. Let's Go Red! "Grrrrr,....!!" Apparently not in Myrtle Beach!! NESN broadcasts different programming regionally? I would have thought it's the same programming everywhere.by Jordan 04 - Hockey

Anybody staking out an NYC watch location for Saturday night?by Jordan 04 - Hockey

Might want to wait to see if we win the series before making such posts.by Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: Quarterfinal rooting interests - 11 years ago
Ben Jordan 04 Ben Not really, but even if we accept this premise, it would be wiser to prepare for the higher likelihood of Q thrashing us 8-0 over two games than thinking about AC. In the same way, I don't remember people worrying about rust for us and pushing Dartmouth's chances last year. Home teams with byes have that advantage for a reason: they're better. That doesn't make an upset impossibby Jordan 04 - Hockey
Re: Quarterfinal rooting interests - 11 years ago
Ben Chris '03 css228 Jordan 04 css228 If we can beat Q... we can beat anyone left This is the team that recently tied Brown at home, and lost to Harvard, right? Why can't we beat them? As is always the case in the league, anybody can beat anybody left, without it being too much of a surprise. Because we take a lot of idiotic penalties and our penalty kill sucks? Because we only have one danby Jordan 04 - Hockey
