CollegeHockeyAddictKeithKCollegeHockeyAddictHi Cornell fans, I will be visiting Lynah for the first time this Saturday. I have heard alot of great things about the atmosphere at Lynah so I'm definitely looking forward to the game. I enjoy meeting other fans so if anybody wants to say hi to me please do. I will be wearing a white signed Gopher hockey jersey so I should be pretty easy to pickby Will - Hockey

Josh '99KP '06I sure hope this team gets its act together before MSG.On the bright side, BU is a mess too - they're 0-4-1 to start the season, including a loss to Robert Morris. So it'll be boys playing with boys at Madison Square Garden? Great.by Will - Hockey

Re: The new Cornellbigred.com - 16 years ago
Nice to see a numbered roster including the new freshmen: . (Or maybe this was around before and I didn't catch it.) Edit: It looks like Jordan Berk took his father's number, 16. Nice. Unfortunately, Tyler Roeszler was unable to do the same, since the two numbers his father used at Cornell are currently occupied by Sawada and Mugford.by Will - Hockey

Semi-OT: Colgate student seen at Fenway Park - 17 years ago
For those that don't get the reference...back at the Cornell @ Colgate game in the 2003-04 season, in their typical assholishness, the Colgate student fans decided to toss some of the free pizza (that they had been given as an enticement to show up for the game) at the Cornell fans. (Fittingly, I think they also ended up hitting some of the few Colgate fans unlucky enough to be in the visitiby Will - Hockey

DeltaOne81CowbellGuyJust noticed one of Brown's recruits: Sean Connauton-RD 6'2 200 57-8-20-28-222 Should fit right in with the rest of the hacks over there. But everyone knows its entirely the refs fault who obviously have it out for Brown every single game ever. Uh oh, the Brown radio guys have hacked Fred's account.by Will - Hockey

sah67ftyuv A Cornell jersey will be very becoming on Riley. If we were on him, we'd all becoming too. It's moments like these when I hope the players' families don't read ELF. And yet some of them do. Thus, it's moments like these when I hope the players' families have the right type of sense of humor.by Will - Hockey

Now that’s not being too greedy, is it? Let’s win some championships next year. Cornell should strive to win the Beanpot in 2008. We did that in 2002-2003, right? 3-0 vs Hahvahd 2by Will - Hockey

Re: 2007-08 fan wishlist - 17 years ago
bandrews37I prefer the 7 pm start. Gives me more than enough time to leave work, grab a bite to eat (and not at McDonalds or Burger King), and still get to the rink as warmups are starting. Then again, I'm also proactive and take a change of clothes with me to the office on game nights. Also, it gives more time to hit the bars after the game to celebrate the wins. Don't ever discount that extra hby Will - Hockey
Re: 2007-08 fan wishlist - 17 years ago
The guy in the bear suitI tried to skate at the ice rink once, but I kept falling and was doing a terrible job. I tried to throw out candy, but the fans threw it back at me. They had to clean the ice and the hockey team got a penalty for it. It was a depressing moment, and now I have to stay off the hockey rink during games. I don't remember this penalty at all. In which game did this happen?by Will - Hockey
