Cornell heads out of town to play Brown and Yale. It's tough to play at Brown because there is no crowd. They have averaged 696 fans for 9 home games. From USCHO attendance stats: Brown 9 6,263 696 2,495 27.9 Playing Yale is always a good game for the most part. Control their top line and they've got a real good chance of winning. Two wins are crucial for top seed in the ECACby Cop at Lynah - Hockey

And the best player in the world of the week is ... Jay Buselli Which leads us to your next question: Who is Jay Buselli? He's an Army veteran and a second-year MBA student at Cornell University's SC Johnson Graduate School of Management. On Nov. 10, he and the captains of the MBA team organized a charity hockey game against Buselli's former team, the Fort Drum Mountaineers. More than 150by Cop at Lynah - Hockey

From the Cornell Sun article: As the interview drew to a close, The Sun brought up how the Ivy League is the only Football Championship Subdivision Division I conference in which there is no postseason play and whose champion must decline its automatic bid into the NCAA playoffs. The feeling among Ivy league head coaches like Cornell’s David Archer ’05 is that the annual push from the coachesby Cop at Lynah - Other Sports

Re: Cornell lacrosse 2018 - No Local Coverage from Ithaca Journal - 6 years ago
So I went to the online Ithaca Journal site looking to see what was being written about this year's CU lacrosse team and....the two top stories were of the CU men's hockey team NCAA tournament game against BU. See no need to keep up and running if you can't keep the news current.by Cop at Lynah - Other Sports
Re: Cornell lacrosse 2018 - 6 years ago
Pretty even at the X all night. Syracuse showed no offensive flare at all. Very good win for the Big Red. Teat had 6 points (I think). Offense was well distributed with 6 guys with 2 goals apiece.by Cop at Lynah - Other Sports

They loose Vanderlaan, Donaldson and Smith and they get Mallot back. Not ideal, but now is the chance for the depth to step up an maintain the level of play. Still plenty of quality players that will be suiting up this weekendby Cop at Lynah - Hockey

Re: Cornell @ Dartmouth 1/27/18 - 6 years ago
A pretty gutty effort by the team this past weekend. Schafer mentioned several times how they could not go full out in practice last week because soo many of the team members were sick. To go on the road and beat those two teams when you are not 100% is a testament to their will and desire to maintain their level of play.by Cop at Lynah - Hockey
