Buy and sell tickets for Cornell hockey games
Re: banquet awards - 21 years ago
Attendance was, indeed, enormous this year; the Lakewatch was jammed to the rafters. It was a beautiful thing to see, and I'm really glad that I went - it was, after all, more or less on the way back from Buffalo. Jim, you could probably pay for a CHA membership just with the money you save from not having to buy Snickers during the off-season. Beeeejby Beeeej - Hockey

Re: What up with Hobey Tickets? - 21 years ago
I successfully contacted her back when I was under the misapprehension that the banquet coincided with the award ceremony this Friday in Buffalo. But I definitely can't go to Minnesota just for the Hobey banquet two weeks after the Frozen Four. Beeeejby Beeeej - Hockey

I dunno, Jason, I think you might be missing my broad point in favor of your own narrower one. I'm trying to express that it's an individual decision, one that's not always easy to make - I'm definitely not saying that fraternity always comes first. In fact 11/11/95 helped cement in my mind that fraternity was already becoming secondary to other considerations in my life. Sure, I've made greatby Beeeej - Hockey

Seriously, Chris... any attorney who claims that a transaction that takes place over the internet isn't governed by any state laws because it doesn't happen in a physical place had better be prepared to have his ass handed to him if he tries to argue it in court. Using your logic, the entire current state of jurisprudence on personal jurisdiction wouldn't be worth the paper on which the Supremeby Beeeej - Hockey

Nieuwendyk left between the end of Cornell's 1986-87 season and the end of the spring semester, too. If Sejna really cares about his CC degree, he'll finish it someday. Beeeejby Beeeej - Hockey

Re: Buffalo hotel info. - 21 years ago
I'll second that. The Anchor Bar is the "originator," and the wings are good there, but it's too crowded and pricy, and doubtless all the tourists will be there. Duff's is a cheap, little place with no ambience to speak of, but the buckets of wings and the baskets of fries are primo. I'll be there at least once, possibly twice, during the four days in Buffalo. Hallelujah and God Bleby Beeeej - Hockey

Re: NYC Frozen Four gathering - INFO - 21 years ago
Please note that the Cornell Club, on E. 44th between Madison and Fifth, is hosting a watching party for Thursday's semifinal with a cold sandwich and salad buffet for $15/person, membership not required (though they ask that you call to reserve a spot). Re: WTF??? - 21 years ago
Hey, you remember things however you want to. What I remember is that I started it in '91-92, when I was still in Section B and the "C-ya" cheer was still brand-new; AFAIR there hadn't been a single yell of "asshole" yet. By the way, who are you? You're a brand-new poster and have no personal info on your profile. I like to know who loves me. Beeeejby Beeeej - Hockey
